MORTICIAN are legendary, and there’s no disputing this fact. HELLS HEADBANGERS have worked with the goregrinding duo on vinyl reissues of all of the band’s main releases, both album and short-length, and ally with them again to reissue 2004’s Re-Animated Dead Flesh, which the label originally released on vinyl in 2016. The album is – to date, at least – the most recent MORTICIAN full-length, and despite being 20 years old, Re-Animated Dead Flesh sounds fresher than ever. And by “fresher,” we mean disgustingly, rottingly GORE-DRENCHED: there’s only one MORTICIAN, now and forever, and this nearly-40-minute tome of terror & entrails reaffirms their legendry.
