We are extremely honored to announce this Unholy Death Metal masterpiece, a project that has been pending for years, so now their third full lenght finally gets a proper LP release on mighty black wax in the band’s 35-year jubileum of total death cult.
After their two first albums released on legendary Cogumelo Records back in the early 90’s, in 1997 Headhunter D.C. totally focused on “…And The Sky…”, crafting more obscure/brutal riffs and solos and incredible heaviness only heard in bands such as Vital Remains and Immolation.
This record has been released only on CD and Picture LP by Brazilian Mutilation Records, getting a lot of attention from the underground worldwide media back then. “…And The Sky Turns to Black…” is an Extreme Metal gem unleashed in 2000, an amazingly strong year for South American Death Metal that counted with other killer records like Krisiun’s “Conquerors of Armageddon”, Mortem’s “Decomposed by Possession” and Dominus Xul’s “The Primigeni Xul”.
This more than deserved release comes with a big poster, a 20 page zine-shaped booklet that includes an exclusive interview for this release made by Huaira Herrera (Noise and Shit zine), also zine reviews and other fanzine/magazine clippings, photos, liner notes by vocalist Sérgio Baloff himself and further memorabilia from that era.
A must have item by these Brazilian Extreme Metal forefathers brought to the year 2022 for the morbid delight of every self-respecting old school Death Metal lover, out now on Crypts of Eternity Productions.
